Ret is a good spec in that it’s both melee and ranged, has a decent Mastery, does magic damage, and has an arsenal of defensive CD’s bordering on the ridiculous.
Sub and Outlaw are in really rough shape design-wise. They reveal that APM Jockeys are in the minority with a lot of these specs.
