I didn’t have a high enough level druid during the Time Walking event or I would have tried for the “Green Boogie” recolor of my Brown Colored Poo-Bear version.
Also, I agree Druids Need more forms to pick from.
No it’s not. I have sparkle kitty. Sparkle kitty has specific particle effects, but not specific animations that’re combat involved. It is a normal cat which does normal cat things. Saying it sparkles different is not the same as saying it has specific combat animations like werebear does.
Tbh, it made no sense that Sparkle Kitty wasn’t the skin unlocked from completing the Balance of Power like the Guardian Druid. But I agree, the sparkle kitty was something 100% unique to the Feral spec that isn’t likely to be reflected in their limited form options again.

I tried. I even explained the difference between a rig, a model, a skin and a recolor. All to no avail. It makes perfect logical sense why they reskinned the rig of the bear and didn’t recolor a cat… but it’s to no avail.

I am aware it’s the same model/rig. I am also aware that’s Blizzards excuse for only doing werebear. I just heavily disagree, and in a world where druid forms are incredibly lacking in customization, I disagree even more strongly.

It’s the same rig and same model. The only difference is the animation. It’s not an excuse. Blizz reused the rig for the bear, just like they reused the rig for some of the artifact weapons. But there’s no cat rig to reuse when it’s already got four other reskins.
As I said earlier:
It absolute is an excuse. Blizzard didn’t want to spend the time, and that’s what they said to justify not spending the time on a reward for feral.
As it stands, the mage tower has no rewards for a feral focused druid. Does that really seem right? At least balance can somewhat see a transmog if they use glyph of stars. Resto has no form. Guardian gets a new werebear. Ferals gets…nothing.
I’m all for new forms. They don’t exactly add them though. That’s kind of why I think sparkle kitty is a big deal. It’s not a new look they would have made from scratch, just a reskin of the previous reward.
As effort goes, it would have been a low bar for Blizzard to reach.
Edit: I absolutely do think that Blizzard should release a new guardian/feral look every expac, but good luck convincing them 
Ferals had been asking for Claws of Shirvallah for years now, and Blizzard answers with radio silence. They’ve been given feedback Trilanni, they just don’t do anything.
They just added a bunch of new travel forms.
Yeah, you’re right about that. So maybe, in actuality, it isn’t a “Blizzard didn’t want to spend the time” issue but rather, as others have pointed out, “it isn’t a new rig” issue.

You seem to not understand the difference between a rig, model, reskin or animation either. That tends to be an issue around the forums.
What you’re asking for is for them to create an entirely new rig for the cat. Of course that wasn’t going to be done.
Ferals got their unique skin from the hidden appearance. They didn’t get a new rig. So there was nothing to reskin. And recoloring an animation is still just the same rig and same animation and same skin, which wasn’t going to happen.
And yet they just gave druids a bunch of new travel forms.
If we keep asking for new rigs and forms for feral and bear, coming up with concepts, they might actually pay attention. But if people keep asking for an animation that’s unique to a challenge mode, while the rig and model/skin are exactly the same… they’re going to ignore everyone.
As usual, I’m the last to know what anyone’s actually talking about…

I’d also be down for having all race specific Druid forms available as customization for all druids, but that is just a pipe dream and I don’t have to be told. Maybe they are considered essential to race/faction identity, but I’d love to have a Kul Tiran feral cat skin for my High Mountain druid.
More generalized forms now that the barber exists would be nice yee. Pandaren drood are probably the only thing folks would accept that don’t want to ruin mUh LoRe.
