This is not a fix, but you need to complete the sparks quest all in one session due to this bug. Just fly around for 20-30 mins on steady flight in ringing deeps and collect the dirt piles. Each pile gives 5-10 sparks. Just make sure you have the setting to highlight quest objectives purple and set it to high, you will see the mounds glow purple from very far! Hope this helps!

Iām seeing the same problem with Return Lost Souls in two Shadowlands covenants. If I log out, the quest gets deleted. (I need to check if reloading the UI also does itā¦)
Noticed the quest was deleted upon relogging. Had to go back to Dornogal to get it again. Shame, because I was 75/100.

LOL I was at 97/100 then I went to mine a mode and took off I guess a little too close to another asset or something, instant disconnect and lost the questā¦ This company is trash. Been happening for over a week and cant resolve.
Same thing happened to me and another guild member while in a party. We both lost the quest.

Can confirm this is happening again with this weeks Sparks of War quest for Azj-Kahet. If you get disconnected, accept a queue, or log off the quest drops from your log and you need to start again.

I am having the same issue, but I noticed that the sparks arenāt dropping in dirt piles or completion of world events/quests!

Yep, I got 70 of them from Azj-Kahet. Totally wasted. What a joke.

100% agree. The only time Iāve ever gotten this quest to work was when I completed it and turned it in during one session without logging out.

Came here to report same thing. Had ~60/100 sparks. Logged in today to see I didnāt even have the quest and it is able to be picked up from Ruffious againā¦Compensation for my wasted time please <3.

Thought I was losing my mind, on multiple toons I have picked up the sparks quest, then Iāll log on the next day and I have to pick it up again, resetting all my progress.

Exact same issue. Randomly disappeared losing all progress while I was in the middle of doing this in a group.

Putting in my own reply that this is still happening. 76/100, had to afk and got logged out - quest is gone.

Happening to me. This is particularly painful for players who do world quests for quest credit since there is no catching back up.
