Tips for grinding these out? I have to get 20 of them.
Go to one the fortress place in rustbolt and get a group of people to kill all the bots there. I believe its better when its raining so they turn rusted.

The best way to farm these is to either find a group or create one, under Premade>Custom. Most groups will post if they have warmode on or off. The best spot to farm them is in the middle of the Junkwatt Depot. I was just in group with 5 other people and farmed up 1600 in less than an hour.

If you have disposable god, you can buy the components off the AH and trade them for boxes, which contain a good number of parts.
premade groups -> custom > search “spare”
Got like 10 crates in 30 min
Warmode is your friend
Daily spare crate if you do the warmode only daily quest

I can attest for the spare crates farming. I did my level 3 essence in a day thanks to the energy cell charger being up and farming crates.
This is what I did, created my own group and did it in 2 hours (even with enemy faction tagging)
