Spam/Random DC

For at least a week now on the hardcore anniversary server, when I try to make a new character, the game keeps disconnecting at random intervals. Sometimes I’m able to make a character, and usually I can get it to level 6 or 7, but then I start getting similar, random interval spam dc’s, and the game is unplayable.

I’m pretty sure these aren’t DDoS.

I would really appreciate any way of mitigating this, or ideally, actual fixes, because Hardcore is the only version of any game I enjoy playing.

Sigh, just tried again maybe 10 minutes after my original post, and it’s even worse now. I can’t even delete my dead character in order to use the same name, because I keep getting dc’d. Please, fix. Would appreciate some game time too, or something. Honestly, if retail could be as good as it was back in Legion, that’d be better.

No. It just disconnects me, I reconnect for maybe a few seconds, then I get dc’d again. I might be able to reconnect for another minute or so, then another dc. Sometimes even more dc’s, sometimes I’m able to actually play for an hour or two, pretty random.

It seems more common when I take “unusual” actions, like trying to join a party, or create/delete a character, or when I’m running to a new place, especially arch/doorways.
