I just thought of this, but an issue with the trade chat is people will spam flag and report you for the reason of getting you silenced. So that it removes one more player from being able to spam the chat. Now of course these can be easily overturned, as you did nothing wrong other than got caught in some mass group reporting you and wasting everyone’s time. So what if it worked in reverse, to where when the silence is overturned, the offenders that reported you instead get the silence and loss of ability to report people as it wastes an employee’s time having to sit there and review the appeal. That way it cuts down on false flagging and reporting in the cases where the accused did nothing wrong. With a consequence existing for the players that chose to spam someone to get the system to auto silence them. Thoughts?

I was once bored one day when I logged on, so I wanted to test something. I said 1 and only 1 thing in trade chat, “Don’t report me”. Nothing else. I was disconnected within the minute and you know what comes next.
I didn’t mind that I was punished, I assumed I would be. I just think it’s kinda funny that you can get punished for saying almost nothing just because you got spam reported.
It’s like 6 sentences, why is this a wall of text?
