Space to put Guild Rules

Almost every guild has rules. The problem comes up that there is no place to post those rules.

My guild has taken to using the info pages on the Guild Vault to put the basics, but there is very little space allotted there and trying to get players to read rules in one place is hard enough; trying to get them to read them across GV tabs is almost impossible. Putting them in an outside source such as a Facebook Group or a separate web page is also problematic because many players don’t want to have to go outside of game to get information, especially if it does not directly affect what they are doing in game.

I suggest that you add a section in the Guild Controls UI, on the same tab as Message of the Day, SPECIFICALLY for Guild Rules not just the Info section (that doesn’t have enough space either), that gives us enough room to post rules.

Send a letter to an alt with the rules written, save a ton of copies, and let those sit in the guild vault for whenever somebody wants to read them

Good luck with this.

Blizz has been ignoring a multi thousand post thread about guild master tools that’s been going on for for five years now.

I’m unsure what rules you could possibly have that don’t fall under the same TOS everyone agrees to when they first launch WoW.

That said, not opposed to giving more space for info/details/rules/whatever on the in-game guild window.

Does your guild use Discord? There’s a way to code your server to where they have to acknowledge the rules to get access. Not ideal but it’s an alternative.
