So I really don’t want to do normal raids or m0s to get drake crests. I know that the weekly Last Hurrah gives drakes, and also the Dreamsurge weekly gives drakes. Are there any other overworld weeklies that give drake crests?
I’m kind of in a bind because I have a lot of champion items that need to be upgraded, don’t have enough wyrms to cap out for them to spill over, and 10 drakes per m0 is just really annoying.
I would like to know as well. I do M+ can get gear that requires Drake crest, but I have none. I don’t want to do M0 just for them, not a good use of my time. More sources are needed.
The reason upgrade tracks stagger across two crest types is precisely to act as a bridge to go into the content that awards them. Drake crests are finitely available from weekly world activities, you want more then you’ve gotta do the stuff that drops them.
The same way gear from M0s requires wyrm crests to fully upgrade, and to get those you’d have to venture into Mythic+.
That’s not really the issue I’m having. I’m not having to do higher content in order to fill out my upgrades, I’m actually having to do lower, easier content for crests that I would rather not do. I was asking what other weekly sources drop them.
I believe it’s just the weekly boxes for whatever activity is currently awakened, otherwise you’d have to cap wyrms and backfill them.
I barely touch M+ and I have already “outgrown” drakes.
Just do the weeklies and m0 tour.
Or have at least 489 in every slot to get “Awakened Drake” or whatever the achievement is called so you can trade up whelpling crests, which seem to rain from the sky.
