Sound turning off with wrong key pressed

Hopefully someone here can help me with this, or at least has an idea why it’s happening. The issue is that sometimes I fat finger things in the heat of battle when I get worked up and furiously start mashing buttons. Occasionally my sound effects get turned off during this time.

The problem is that the keybind for that is the right arrow key, which is not even close to all the other buttons. So, how are they being disabbled without me ever hitting the key for it ? Are there certain “secret” key combinations that do things like that in game ? It seems like a stupid question for me to ask but I honestly can’t figure out another theory as to why.

I’m pretty darn sure that it is not an addon, I don’t have any that mess around with things like the sound or keybinds so I don’t see how they could be the culprit. Many thanks in advance if you have any sort of iunformation that may help me to figure this out. If not it’s no big deal, it’s not that important of an issue, it’s just annoying and I hate not understanding why it keeps happening. Also it may just be my keyboard (but I doubt that, it is a Logitech G910 spark)

Are you somehow hitting Shift + Num5 (like say if you have a Naga bound to you Numpad keys)

I started having the same problem after I bought my Logitech G600 mmo mouse. Download the software for your mouse and set it to wow.

Mine was bound to Ctrl+s and I turned off my game sound and couldn’t get it back on through the normal audio settings until I figured out it was Ctrl+s and undid it

Seems like i might be a bit late for the original post. I wasn’t frenzied, yet same problem, and here’s what i found;

Somehow my key combination had turned off sound in windows.

Basically, control panel, sound, default device and UNmute.

Hope this helps

BTW, i don’t know what key did the mute, prolly mouse button plus F1 - F4
