There’s some sound issue occurring that won’t stop regardless of reloading, restarting PC, restarting WoW, relogging, changing characters, etc. I’ve dropped all my quests, emptied my bags, changed out talents, gone into different zones. The sound persists through different instances (dungeon’s, delves, etc.).
Its some sort of ambient lightning or shocking or charging sound.
Tell me the file I need to delete.
on the off chance that its aura related, queue into an arena skirmish.

i have the same issue, started when i did the quest and wore the bug zapper
you need to fly near the blue pilar in Azj-Kahet (79.05-60.50) to remove the sound

This is quite possibly the most annoying thing I have experienced in the entire history of this game.
LOL it really was exceptionally annoying. Thanks to Aapstki for figuring it out! I did the little Vizier dig thing and must have tagged the electrical thing near it. Be alert that the pillar does damage you if you stay near it, it ended up killing me. But I’ll take 1 Reincarnate for not having to hear that BZZT every second omg.
All I have to say is I love you, I was on the brink of insanity.
The main question is why is that even part of the game? It’s rediculous that this drives people to go through that much with no solution whatsoever. At least show a rebuff with a line of text saying how to get rid of it

This doesn’t fix it for me, when I fly away from the pillar the sound and flashing animation persists.
Edit: For me it was the yellow pillar that fixed it.
