Given they’re building Classic on a modern engine, I do have one question.
Will Sound in Classic still be playing in the background when you Alt-Tab to another application? It used to drive me crazy that the music would cut out when I go to look at Thottbot, or change what video is playing on the other monitor. I know it wasn’t a Classic option, but it would be nice if it was included, and I don’t feel like it would damage the Classic feel.
Enabling sound while set in background is a change I would actually prefer lol.

I would be surprised if it did not work like in modern WoW. Whether that gives you what you want or not, I don’t know.
I’m almost sure sound will play in the background because this is a very small tweak that’d had to remove with no gain at gameplay IMO. What’s the reason to keep it?
Anyways… let’s say they remove so we have a 100% accurate classic client… even in the original client, there was a way to let the music flow while browsing or anything else. Instead of pressing ALT+TAB or clicking on another window, just click on the taskbar WoW icon and voilà: your WoW window is minimized and the sound will be playing.
