I use it before a fight and the game says I can’t resurrect during an encounter. I try to use it during a fight to rez someone and it doesnt work.
Is this during M+? You have a limited amount of combat rez’s available and that limit is for the entire group. If your group has 0 available [i.e. you have a druid using Rebirth to combat rez], you will not be able to use Soulstone despite having not used it yourself.
This also applies if you pre-cast Soulstone on yourself, then use it mid-M+ – if you have 0 combat rez’s available, you cannot click ‘Use Soulstone’ while dead with a soulstone.

Hmm. I know there’s a change that’s changing LFR to have the same system as M+, with 6 combat rez’s available at the start of a fight, but I’m pretty sure that’s coming with War Within, not right this moment…
