Soulshape forms are nice

I really Like the soulshape forms they give you at the Night Fae Covenant. But I am wondering why they give you the ArdenMoth… And it Can’t fly… It would be great if we got at least 1 Soulshape form that could fly… Not that I can’t fly on my character, but I still think it would be nice if the Ardenmoth could actually fly too.

Probably because outside of rest zones a soulshape only lasts like what? 10 seconds?
Long enough for someone to fly high enough that when the shape ends they would make a good sized Splat.

Yeah, Bokchoi, That needs to change too. A temporary form isn’t much good either. I forgot about that since I usually only use it at my covenant, and it doesn’t go away there. I rarely use it when Im out questing

too overpower cause nondruid people will get this ‘‘skill’’.

And druid/Paladin is blizz fav, so… they should give

I’d imagine it would also cause problems when you enter a building (ie, the Heart of the Forest) since it isn’t a mount. Then there’s the hitch of soulshape being usable in combat. Not to mention that “blink” abilities tend to have issues when you use them in the air. There’s a lot they would have to account for to expand what is already a pretty massive ability code-wise.

Not even going into the fact that letting winged soulshapes fly would undermine the value of soulshapes such as the raptor, spider, hippo, and various other creatures that are superior.

I mean I guess it sucks that DH will rarely use it over their other movement tools, but there are many other classes that actually can make use of the added mobility.

I disagree. I absolutely adore Soulshape and I use it all the time both in and out of rest areas, but it’s meant to be just a quick sprint ability. Not a permanent form. Same reason is doesn’t fly. Well that and the aforementioned climbing up and splatting problem.
