Soulbound Keepsake safe to destroy?

I completed the quest, using this item on Ras Frostwhisper, the lich, to make him mortal. Killed him, turned in the quest, all good. The item stayed in my inventory.

Is it fine to destroy it, OR can I use it again to make Ras human the next time I run Scholomance. I’ve gotten conflicting reports on this so thought I’d ask here.

Safe to destroy, pretty sure you can talk to the quest giver and he gives you another too.

Edit: even after quest completion.
