Soulbind Question: Virtuous Command

Will the auto attack part of this souldbind work for Prot pallies? I ask because my pally doesn’t have a second generic or prot potency soulbind so I figured this one was better than nothing until I do get one.

I googled it but came up empty

NM I figured it out, it helps some. It adds about 1% to my DPS. Not great but better than nothing.
