Blizzard,
Upon logging in after the 10.0.5 patch update. I noticed many things were wrong or bugged with soul swap. One, the ability was supposed to be reverted to an older model to help with global efficiency. The ability now takes two globals, one to inhale the DOTs and one to exhale the dots. Upon doing this I noticed it only copy’s the 3 standard dots, UA, agony, and corruption. On top of that it still has a 30 second cooldown, where the old version did not have nearly that cooldown and the current iteration makes the ability almost impossible to use, with the travel time of the exhale and inhale being long and arduous. Finally the biggest and most important bugged piece of this ability is that it doesn’t show you when the ability is coming off cooldown. I hope that this gets fixed promptly as this bug will absolutely decimate the representation of affliction warlock and wipe it from the game.

Agree, if it is only copying UA, Agony, Corruption, this is useless in any format.

Bugs I’ve experienced (so far):
- Soul swap REMOVES Unstable Affliction from your main target when you soul swap.
- If you’re talented into Absolute Corruption then Corruption is applied to yourself when you inhale soul swap.
- Obvious cooldown bug.
- Soul swap does not copy dots in their current state, IE Agony stacks.
I’m sure there are many more, but these are the ones I’ve experienced first hand.
Besides being a terrible change, these bugs actually make soul swap a detriment to use and not even worth talenting into.

I’m experiencing the same issue. It’s hard enough to get damage going as an affliction lock. This is no longer worth the talent point in my opinion. And the lack of cooldown timer issue keeps me guessing when I can use the ability. The previous version was just fine the way it was.

This is still broken today. This is kind of a big deal for affliction, especially in PvP.
