Soul Shards in BGs

This is such a terrible design. I know it’s been like this for ages but it’s so silly.

I never use my healthstones because I don’t want to waste a shard. If my pet dies I just suicide because I don’t want to use a shard. I know people will say just farm shards but do you know how quick you will burn through them if you use them in BGs.

I know it won’t change but I just had to get that out :joy:

It would be nice if you could get shards from enemy players, yeah.

Honest question since it’s been forever since I pvp’d but doesn’t drain soul say experience or honor?

You wanna be me so bad.

good news, you are getting a reuseable soulshard on a 5min cooldown.

wait really?

engis craft a thing and sell it, warlocks buy it and its linked to a quest.

Neat, will have to check that out in a couple weeks.

Pets probably shouldn’t require a shard for just that reason. It’s more economical to simply die. Which is a flaky design.

Why are you not draining the souls from your enemies?

Lol at draining souls in pvp. Maybe the odd time but not often
Let’s buff drain soul to do decent dmg and maybe we have a deal

You’re complaining about lack of soul shards. But refuse to use an ability that generates soul shards.

This is a you problem.

Yea a channeled spell that I have to be standing still to use and does no dmg.

Last 2 games alliance didn’t get a kill. Now what? The passive isn’t active till phase 2 where you can get a shard while channeling.

why drain soul when you can ensure a kill another way. Making sure people are dead is critical in bgs. People in this thread missing the point. It’s more efficient to just die after the clashing. And that’s a silly dynamic.

Retail players

What is this thread… I go into bgs to FARM shards before raids. It barely even impacts your play to do so, either.

Practice the class more, I suppose, it’ll get easier.

Or, if all else fails, once we get it unlocked, just go to av once an hour, you can fill your bags in under 5 minutes.
