About 20-30% of the time I try to reactivate this trinket, its not working. I thought it may have to do with an issue people had early on with it failing to interact properly with two on use trinkets, so I subbed out a non on use trinket, but it appears to still have a problem not letting me reactivate.
I keep getting stuck staring at the buff drop off, while spamming my hotkey for the trinket.
I have been having the exact same problem. If I reactivate the trinket within the first 5 seconds, it seems to work. But if I try to reactivate at less than 10 seconds, it rarely works. Then the pack dies, and the huge blast goes off to hit nothing.
Having the same issue. Really annoying as I need to reactivate it during combustion.
I’m also finding that the fire blast doesn’t always hit. Its hard to miss when you collect 5+ mobs and it doesn’t hit anyone.
I need some confirmation here. The Soul Igniter is doing no damage in Torghast.
As of this writing I am in the Soul Forges. I just tested it inside the Soul Forges, with a non-pulled group of mobs. I triggered the trink and then used it. The mobs were aggro’d, but they took no damage.
Possibly somehow ineffective with the Soul Forges thing being fire? Probably shouldn’t be.
Soul Igniter starts it’s effect on use, but the Blazing Surge effect that it has happens once you lose the buff, not by activating the trinket again.
If you want both on the same hotkey, make this macro:
/use Soul Igniter
/cancelaura Soul Ignition
You will press the macro once to activate, and a second time to cast it.
