In my head since soul harvester’s name was revealed I thought it would function along the lines of “spending soul shards has a chance to summon some kind of demon, it does damage while active, when it dies you consume its soul empowering your dots/other demons”

Every once in a while you generate wandering souls or whenever an enemy dies nearby you get one as well…
Hit the harvest button to activate whatever they put in the trees empowered by n# of souls consumed, possibly a transformation down on one path, something related to shard expenditure on another, or passive buffs / cooldowns on the other path.
Not bad, not bad at all. Lol
A little disappointed it didn’t involve any Reap Soul-like mechanics to trigger on-death effects while a target is still alive… but yeah, no, its a def. a hit! Now if only they could make Hellcaller more… explosive.
