You know what would be cool? If I could like take this soul ash I have and really dont need and have no use for and trade it for like Anima. It would be perfect for catch up and actually make it useful - like if you want a legendary nowadays it is easier to grind Zereth Mortis for that new currency than farm Boreghast, and even then you’ll end up with more soul ash then you could ever really need - especially with the weekly limit removed.
1000 Soul Ash to buy a bag of punctuation.
Or a bag of Grateful Offerings.
Feel free to quote it with punctuation I’m not very skilled at English so
let it be useless that stuff gave me enough annoyance season 1.
give us a vendor for gold or something tho. just a smol amount of gold.
Not that bad tbh.
Much rather have anima. Offerings rain from the sky if you just do callings semi-regularly.
Hot take: why not both
Sure why not
realistically we’ll probably get neither lol
I mean you can convert cosmic dust or whatever the ZM one is into soul ash, and I have roughly 75k of that sitting around. Unless the conversion rate is absolutely terrible, you could trivialize any and all resources that could be bought with it pretty much instantly.
Thank you just edited in you corrections
Yeah. I seem to overplay every expansion.
I look at my currency tab from past expansions and they are loaded with useless stuff telling me I should have known when to quit.
Is anima really something people need assistance with these days? Not having a go at you or anything. It’s just that ZM has the stuff in abundance. Spend 30 minutes there and you’ll get a couple of thousand.
Honestly wouldn’t mind taking all these currently and soon to be worthless currencies and being able to convert them to genesis motes. Farming those things is just painful
Welp unfortunately need a lot more then
Anima because everything is so damn expensive and I left like 3 or 5 weeks into the expansion so
I was gone from about two months after launch to two weeks ago, and the amount of anima I’m spending on catch-up is a little annoying. This is probably the easiest catch-up I’ve ever had, but I wouldn’t mind being able to burn ash into anima.
Offerings, I have more offerings than I know what to do with, starting to think these people see me as a god the way they give me tithe. Part of this is because many of the things you need to spend offerings on also require a lot of anima, so I’m not in a position to spend many offerings yet.
EVERYTHING about this expac is about to become useless very soon. I hate that they just throw away previous content with no carry-over. I am in Legion leveling and messing around RN, what a great xpac that was/is.
Fair enough. Trust me though, put some time into hanging out in ZM for a few days. You’ll be drowning in the stuff in no time.
Then you’re in a good position for getting all your stuff. Until recently those were much more scarce. They changed them to come from all manner of different activities.
Yeah like looking at multiple covenants and probably anima amounts in the hundreds of thousands to get everything especially considering you’d have to upgrade all 4 covenant sanctums 4 times almost completely on different characters to get all the plate, mail, leather and cloth covenant transmog like it’s so much
It’s very fortunate that I absolutely hate everything Necrolords and only want about a quarter of the stuff from the other three. If I were full on collector, this could keep me busy several months while doing almost nothing else.
Once you start looking into it, you can be a bit more strategic about it. For example, you can get every set from Venthyr with a Transport 3, Ember Court 3, and never upgrading anything else. Kyrian you can get every armor set by literally just maxing out the Path of Ascension.
I have one character from each armor type 100%ing their Covenants first. Then I use them to farm anima (because you get increased drops from having a fully upgraded sanctum) and just swap them over to other Covenants when they have enough to pick something up. It’s also much easier to mass farm grateful offerings in a fully upgraded sanctum, which stay per character but can be used for other covenants.
I’d rather have souls. I’m oozing Anima out my orifices and don’t need offerings. What I do need is a way to get souls that doesn’t involve the Maw or Torghast. I have 12 alts worth of covenant upgrades and CBA to step another foot into the Maw or Torghast.
