It’s actually you that has no idea what you’re talking about. I played horde in the infamous BG9, one of the first to experience this boycott. We had long queues but we still got games. There were many times a tank or healer abandoned a dungeon run because his AV popped. That was a pretty common thing back then.
I told you to google before responding but you were too arrogant to do that. Good luck finding anything to support your claim that AV came to a halt because it didn’t. There were still bots, afkers and players who wanted reputation rewards just like now. It was the bulk of alliance that boycotted, not the whole.

AV is actually Alliance favored. They have the bridge choke which is the best choke. Alliance need to suck it up.
horde have IWB choke, which is even better ( especially with this ptr update)
The hut entrance to Frostwolf Keep with two towers full of archers right there isn’t shabby.
Iwb choke probably most powerful on in bg, the two towers can be by passed by going to the right side of the keep.
Isn’t that the backdoor to FW that they are supposedly patching? I am bad at jumping and just kill my way in.

Yeah, I’ll just be honest, I don’t like where the current meta has left us. Some of these games have turned into nightmarish sh gy turtles and the alliance not even putting up an offense outside of those Incendius premades or AV weekends (when groups of high rankers join) has left the bg a shell of itself… with stupidly long queues.
Even AB has <10 minute queues a lot of the time now for horde, why even bother with AV if I want to casually play some bgs. And I hate saying that about my favorite bg.
I would much rather have a map where it turns into what it looks like at the end of vanilla with both sides focused on offense with some small defensive groups to try to halt the rush.
I think the meta would be way more healthy if something is done about the horde cave rezzing.
Right? It can’t be that fun for Horde to just grind grind grind down to DB every time. I mean sure winning is great, but the little joys of pvp are lost.
