Hey all, so I’ve been playing classic over retail after returning from a bit of a break. Initially I had a bunch of fun with the excitement and nostalgia of Wow Classic. But I had a week off and well the rose colored glasses must have broke
I am sad to say my return to retail has not been much better…
After deciding to fire up retail and start leveling my KT druid I realized there is still alot of fun to be had with wows current version. So much that I thought I would catch up on my other allied races. Well after toon hoping to find out what character to use to finish the rep grind I just closed wow. The idea of having to pick a toon I didn’t really want to play to do it, killed the idea for me.
Whoever you are that only played one character as your main throughout your years of wow…you have my utmost respect. I have not…I have way to many ‘mains’ and I normally flip flop patches and expansions. Its created this overwhelming feeling whenever I look back on getting achievements or catching up on expansion quests and rep. It literally makes me not want to play at all.
Now one easy solution for me would be account shared reputation. This simple thing would allow me to always consolidate achievements to whatever character I want to play. Not being able to do this is literally preventing me from wanting to play. It also is keeping me from enjoying older content that I have skipped or missed. I can only imagine just how many people have walked away because of this overwhelming feeling?! Its safe to say the majority of wow players have multiple max level characters these days.
As it stands now…I’m in purgatory. Not wanting to play either version. Help me make it to Wow heaven Blizzard.
