I have 20 characters and love them very much.
But I agree, starting TBC Classic from Level 1 is where I would like to start at with a server that allows no transfers.

Fresh servers are fun. I rolled a fresh server at TBC launch. And before I even got to hellfire peninsula it was very apparent the realm wasn’t going to make it, so I transfered to a server that rolled into TBC instead of starting fresh. A TBC launch that recreates what happened back then would be both, either you take your 60 through the portal or you start over on a new server. Good luck have fun

How so? I mean if everyone is going to be min maxing like everyone says then what’s the use of bloodelf outside of Paladins? If they are pvping they will go undead for any classes bloodelf can do, and in pve they will likely go orc or troll.

I’m not disagreeing I’m just saying these statements sort of are counterintuitive. Is everyone going to roll what they love or are they going to min max? Or you think maybe just possibly it’s a healthy mix of both

Knowing what happened on classic and that horde only get better (they have literally every single advantage going for them right now except salv) expect the population balance to be 90:10.
It seems mostly to be “boomers” or inexperienced players clamouring for a second fresh because the whippersnappers ran rings around them in classic and they have like 200g banks and are progressing at firemaw but the same will happen in tbc so there is really no point

Yeah, except salv. That tiny little salv that makes PVE easy mode.
and ally druids getting pally buffs while WF is wasted on horde druids or the poor hunters that sometimes get stuck in melee groups.
and fear ward
and human racial granting free weapon skill
and NE aimed shot/eating/drinking in stealth
and human perception or dwarf stoneskin against rogues
and blessing of freedom

what was the point in listing a bunch of alliance abilities? are you trying to argue that a nelf hunter is a better hunter than an orc hunter? or a human warrior is a better warrior than an orc? That you think night elf hunters can channel aimed shot in stealth or that the dwarf racial is called stoneskin pretty much tells everyone how to value your opinion. Fear ward is literally a crutch added to the game because they were designing encounters around fear mechanics which the horde could completely disregard lol.

That’s really not it at all actually. The amount of inflation that’s in the game right now will completely destroy how tbc is played from day one. Gear and everything else is irrelevant I could care less.

What I’m saying is that alliance has it better on the PvE side, and they are comparable on the PvP side.
Not sure where you’re coming from on the “fear mechanics” thing. Both factions’ warriors can stance dance. Other than that it’s a comparison of fear ward vs. tremor totem and fear ward wins out easily.
It’s like if you argued that orc warriors had it better because of their stun resistance while forgetting that you have both blessing of freedom and gnomish racial available to you. Both are huge for warriors.
