It took a couple of patches but i think I’m starting to finally see and feel the vision of demo. Rotation is butt but surprisingly satisfying because I can now actually see the damage in each of my spells vs it being front loaded in Tyrant and a million other forgettable portal demons.

The current design is underwhelming and for a second it just makes you think that they just overturned everything by accident in response to failing on the design, but here we are and it works. Peaks and valleys are less for sure at the moment. And the dps rankings have demo high. Good job blizz?

P.S. please fix Tyrant interacting with PvP Talent summons. Prior to this patch Tyrant affected the extension Summon Fel Lord and Summon Observer

Going to be honest, I love this Demo more than Nether Portal focused of last season.

Amusing how we are enjoying this new version of demo simply because it is a step above the idiotic mega burst focused version we had since they remade demonic consumption back during bfa.

And it only costed us having like half of our talent tree being composed of dead talents.

Playing a warlock feels like being in a toxic relationship sometimes.

My sincerest hope is that they abandon Nether Portal as a talent/capstone entirely.

There’s no version of it they’ve tried to implement that works synergistically with the kit. Time to get creative and come up something new (and fun).
