I had two stacks of the buff, both potions, and i had clicked 4 red caps, but when i went to get the sword and pet, it said i wasn’t strong enough. I had every single thing needed, and when i clicked the arm, i fell and then one potion buff was gone when i had everything up.
Please, rescind my completion and the gold i got from the world quest “A few bumps in the road” or whatever, and let me attempt again. I am furious I didn’t get it because of some bug.
Also, no clue why it used an alt for this post, it happened on this Enøs on Stormrage
At least you got 4stacks of Edible Redcap I couldnt even get past 1 before my 10min buff expired. I think this would have triggered me even more if this happen to me.
i just want them to do something about it, i’m beyond pissed.
Blizzard needs to take a HARD look at this quest. there’s 5+ people waiting around at any given time, fighting for 4 mushrooms to spawn that spawn 1 every 5-10 mins. this is almost impossible to do due to this.
The ire that Blizzard would design something knowing this would happen. They have to make more mushrooms spawn this is ridiculous.
at the very least they need to increase the spawn rate or make it like herbs so multiple people can loot them. this is miserable and very defeating for so many people.
But likely they will respond to this with “thats why its a rare spawn”
Well, I had 2 of the mushroom buffs and got d/c’d then lost all the buffs when I logged back in. So I totally understand everyone’s frustration.

At least you got to that point. I had an invisible mob keep me in combat through the entire zone. I was not able to get to the mushrooms because I was in combat across the entire zone and could not mount or take the flight path. I lost the buff and could not even attempt the quest.
I too got to the point (somehow with everyone around) of getting all the required buffs and was able to get the pet but not the sword. I checked the active buffs on me and all were correct. But as others pointed out; just getting the 4x redcaps is extremely annoying. I have spent too much wasted time getting the achievement.
