With how dead pvp is now, you all STILL think removing templates from pvp was a bad idea?

Probably good time to say that mmo pvp is dead and its a joke and probably always been a joke.
Yes because regardless I’d like to stack haste or mastery and not be forced into whatever they want me to use. Different stats work better with different covenants and casters feel terrible at low haste.

bring back templates
how ever, make them static none scaling and remove current honor talent system bake in any must have skills in to base kit, and give everyone 100(or w/e) stats to put into mastery/ haste/ crit of their choice as honor talents

Screw templates.
Just bring back 1 set of honor gear and 1 set of Conquest gear, with no upgrade system.

It’s almost like you completely missed the issues at hand. Go read kamrons thread. You know, the one where someone actually put some effort in, instead of just spamming troll threads. The one that you said was too long to read

We didn’t like templates either. This expansion had promise. Thats why pvp participation was at an all time high at the start. But blizz decided to screw the pooch and add 7 levels of honor upgrades. So after you grind honor for weeks, you can step into arena and get globalled by everyone because it turns out that honor gear is near worthless and not competitive at all. Who thought making gear range from 177 all the way up to 246 in one season was a good idea? People starting late have absolutely zero chance of having fun. And then you have about 4 other systems to grind and catch up on.

Templates were never good for pvp.
The problem with PVP is the rating gate that prevents players from getting gear that rated players get.
Nobody minds getting their butt kicked for a few months as long as they have something to show for it.
Right now, there is no reward other than being an interior designer for the local grave yard.

You work for your rating, shouldnt work for gear…not everyone can put in the same amount of time as another…People should hop in the game and compete.
With your solution people on the world cup should only be able to use their own characters…
not template characters they can build every single match how they want.

removing the templates wasnt the issue. arbitrary bs systems that take weeks to grind and RNG for conduits.
crap honor gear. high scaling conquest gear with brackets.
thats the real issues
