Some idiot in a bg was being a knob so i called him out in bg chat. We get out the bg and he whispers me some trash then blocks me before i can reply?

Sounds like they’re doing you a favour by preventing any escalation. Sure, they’re being a jerk but if it had the potential to lead to reportable words, better to just cut it off. Let it go. You were the cooler head in this scenario. That’s a win.

Using Badboy and Badboy Levels addons you can block whispers from people outside your guild or friends list.
Makes pvp much nicer!
It’s for the best. You report those people, put them on ignore and then let the rage ensue when they realize you didn’t want to talk to them and they got banned.

Oh that is such a smart idea I have been just ignoring them in the chat window. That would be nice in case a guildy whispers me and doesn’t know.
Eh not really he was trash taking in the bg on the healers but his dam was terrible. He only called me fat. Im not fat so its w/e.

Best way to win in Whisper PvP and make sure they face consequences are:
Don’t engage
If you do respond, do not use hostile language (This is how people lose the match)
If they say something offensive, derogatory, or insulting
Right click their name
Click Report
Cease all outgoing communication with them, that means no gloating about reporting or continuing to engage, radio silence after that point is also important.
Will win every match.
