I think for solo player with 0 gear was comp stomp the best way to farm honor. RIght now, I would guess its epic BGs as you have 39 other people who can equal out the missing gear.
Best solution would be to find a group you can queue with. Also can it help when you buy 538+ item level (watch out for items usable at level 78+) from the AH. The blue items are usually quite cheap with like 50-200g or so and they scale to level 600. You often can also pick your wanted stats with Versa + X.
Other than that you could look for the crafted PvP gear. Algari it’s called, but that is usually more expensive. Especially ring and neck!
War Supplies are also a good source if you can get them. 150 honor each I think. Last but not less important: Get the honor flask. Its 15% more honor for like 250g or something. But careful, they get removed when you join a skirmish/wargame.
Go to the ah buy item level 535+ gear for every slot it’s pretty cheap (100-300 gold each ish). It will scale to item level 600 in bg’s which should help quite a bit

Those go for like 8k a piece, and like stated the buff disappears if enter a skirm.
And qn str8 BGs with no skirms woven in between, especially when horde get rolled probably 70% of the time. Is a very wild interpretation of “selling tears”

Our forum crew rolls hard gy farming. Heck myself, doors, jim and some duro friends won 5 in a row pretty fast. I even resigned myself to running the flag being a stun immune god class infinite blinking mage and all while jim handled my lightwork at the GY.
None needed. I farm you, and sell your tears back to you.

So obviously warmode crates because they also have a chance at Vicious blood stones which cost 2500 honor. Saves you some on sockets. Not to mention the honor they drop.
Then drink vicious flask of honor and do Epic BGs in between crate drops. Ashran has a 1,000 honor quest soon as you enter to pick up for turning in 50 frags.
WG also has a 1,000 honor Quest and another quest too. So Queing Epics is the way especially undergeared. Get that honor pick up the quest in there turn in.

Hmmm, you couldn’t even 6-0 the Demo lobby when Fire got giga buffed. I guess a boy can dream, tho but in all seriousness I don’t q horde BGs because it’s actually faster to farm honor as ally and now you can even send it over before 36 weeks in
Not always. I solo que a lot too or just duo/trio with dps friends. Were not even like 5 stack tryhards we just run around looking for PVP and ignoring objectives most of time.
