we’re up to … 4 guild clearing MC on thalnos? and we’re one of the lulzy server who had no superpower guild at start? could start a 2nd MC team pretty soon in my guild? some people are nearing 60 on their alt… raiding redridge is becoming a common occurence as the lvl 60 are getting bored.
what does releasing phase 2 changes for you?

Nope. They promised phase 2 would remove layering. So, it’s too early for that. Gotta wait a bit longer for populations to solidify first.
Plus phase 2 brings PVP. We dont need high level folks being incentivized for camping levelers for honor system yet. Give everyone a fair shake at hitting high enough level to defend themselves first lol.
Lots of people still levelling. I’d expect P2 somewhere around Blizzcon.

I hope phase 2 doesn’t come until January. That’s around the time when the average player will finally hit 60.

They are waiting for a massive drop in player base so they can drop layering like they promised.
Problem is, i don’t think people are going to leave as rapidly as Blizzard thinks.
If you don’t already have enough gold/consumes to last you the rest of Classic’s lifespan, you have something to do. This is the best time to get all your farming done before layering is gone and PvP ramps up, making farming zones far more difficult to make money in.
Personally I just finished getting almost every alchemy recipe in the game (only missing GAE and greater frost prot) and farmed all the materials for my hide of the wild, corehound belt, and paladin epic mount quest.
There is a lot to do at 60 currently. If they rush p2 and leave 6 months between that and BWL, people will whine even more than they are now.
Hasnt even been a month. Go look at the sun. Maybe say “hello” to the people of earth. Come back and phase 2 will be here.

Last I looked at census data (before they broke it) our server was sitting at the average being 30s and 40+ ahead of the curve. And Kirtonos is not a dead server by any stretch of the imagination.
Say what you want, but you’re quite the gambling man if you want to argue that 60 is the norm already.
Edit: realistically if I was a betting man I’d say P2 is at least a month if not 2 away. Could even be more, just guessing.

Without BG’s the honor grin is insane, personally i wouldn’t mind it in yet just due to the fact i could try for R3 and get 10% discount and Pvp warrior trinket. Though there’s no way the normal is 60, it’s mostly 20’s-40’s at best. most people only play 2-4 hours a day.
If you’re already 60, farm gold for the future Get flask pattern go help people get 60, or start an alt and then have TWO 60’s before the others lol. Though i do agree with you, honor would be nice, no one know’s the time on phases.

Most level 60’s probably averaged about 8 days. So we’re talking 7+ hours a day since release and this 60 moron lock Drougen thinks he’s in the majority. It’s laughable asking for new content. Try moderation. (I’m level 60 but I dug my own pit).

How bout no… it’s wayyy too early for phase 2. You’ve killed Ony/Rag? Cool, go farm them for all the gear each week. Like you would for any tier of raid content ever…
Also phase 2 adds world dragons.
I wouldn’t expect phase 2 to hit until January… But I could be wrong, just my own prediction.
