With an honor system level 60s have more of a reason to fight similarly leveled players rather than camp lowbies since they don’t get honor from it. As it currently stands since I get nothing from dungeons and gold farming gets boring fast, the most fun thing to do is often just camping low level players. Sometimes I’ll just pick a random enemy player and decide “this guy doesn’t get to play WoW tonight” and camp until they layer out or quit. With an honor system I would at least have a reason to do something else.
The rest of phase 2 is unnecessary at this point though.
Sounds like your guild is full of people who play WoW Classic a lot.
There are WoW streamers who haven’t reached level 60 yet, and they stream WoW for a living.
What do you get out of trolling the classic forum?
If that’s how you choose to spend your gametime, I doubt an honor system will help much.

Initially I thought it would be 2-3 months from release but from talking with people in-game on on twitch it doesn’t make sense to release the PvP system in the middle of the holiday season (forced to spend time with family away from computer 
) when people won’t have time to grind ranks.
So early January was a lot of people’s guess.
I mean, realize that you’re probably arguing with a kid that should be going to college but still lives with mommy, or a fat 30-something that’s typing with one hand while he bites into his hot pocket with the other, washing it all down with some sweet Dew.
In either case it’s pointless because this fool is ignorant.

I really never did enjoy this new mentality that everything must be rushed ASAP regardless of what game it is, and everything and everyone must be min/maxed if they want to be part of any group.
I hope P2 doesn’t come for at least 3-4 months from now.

OP if you this clueless then go play another game and unsubscribe. There’s still so much to do other than kill Ony/Rag one or two times. I really dislike how low iq you are and hope Blizz never listen to people like you.

phase 2 won’t happen till a larger portion of the community is 60.
even with people downing MC. That’s still a small portion of the people. Id say maybe less than 10% of the community is even 40 atm.
You foolishing little children who rushed the content are not going to be around much longer. Classic isn’t about rushing it’s about enjoying the ENTIRE game not just end game or raids. But the world. Phase 2 will most likely not be out for another 4-6 months.
I’m in no rush either (except for layering to be gone). But I’m curious when phase 2 is going to drop. Does Blizzard just not know? Or are they keeping it for a secret surprise!
I spend very little time camping individuals (unless they gank my alt or friends), but a decent amount camping zones. Getting rewards is a form of entertainment just like playing the game for the sake of playing is and when there are no rewards for fighting 60’s, it is generally more entertaining to kill low level players.
I have limited time and have to choose what is I find is the most fun. With dungeons being worthless, gold farming being boring, and fighting 60’s being difficult and unrewarding it leaves very few options.
Classic hasn’t even been out for a full month yet, you guys need to chill.

Yet already level 60. I get it your a hunter could have done whatever and /time played could be less than a lot. But that’s still a lot of time dedicated to WoW to be “busy”. But hey… when I see bs I call it

Wouldn’t care if they added the honor system right now. I know damn well I’m not putting the time in for warlord. It’s battlegrounds I don’t want to see added, like ever. More instance PvP and less WPvP is my only issue.
This right here is an epic example of the lengths of rationalization “world pvp’ers” will go to justifying ganking lowbies.

I took a week off from work and played extreme amounts to rush 60 during that time. I’m not going to pretend I am some casual player who only has 4 hours a week to budget, but I do have a job and responsibilities. I probably still play far more than the average player, but it doesn’t mean my time is unlimited. It doesn’t matter though because whether a person has 16 hours to play or 2 hours they still have to decide how they want to use that time.
Level 60 pvp is generally not worth spending time on. There are far fewer 60s than 30-50s which makes finding pvp more difficult. Those 60s are also usually in groups heading to dungeons which makes solo ganking nearly impossible and good luck finding a group to purely pvp when there are no rewards and it is iffy if you can actually find consistent people to fight.
