Anybody know the drop rate for Kor’kron Shaman’s Treasure ?
I’ve tried to search around and there isn’t even info on Wowhead, only info i ‘found’ was that you can only do one difficulty per week.
Saw it go for 1.5 mil on the BMAH earlier this week.
So it must be pretty low…

safe assumption is its got the mount drop rate. it took me years farming it to get it while it only took my friend a few months. i dont think the set ever droped when soo was current for a single shammy in my guild either.
I bought for around 400k, bmah folks are crazy, i dont think its worth 1m
back in the day there was always a person with a lot of gold who was competing bc they really wanted the item, and we both got the price so high, if that happens now I just give up, I don’t think it’s worth spending millions of gold on something that you can still get in the game

Fair enough, and WRA is a fairly busy server compared to most. That was where I saw it, I should have specified.
Usually things are kinda dead on the BMAH at this point in the expansion cycle but there’s still been so much competition.
I got some absolute steals off the BMAH during SL when everyone quit lol. I almost miss it!

Totally fair, if the grind goes on too long, like a year or so, i might resort to it as gold isn’t hard that hard to come by for me haha
Yea that’s likely the case, my cousin was one of the lucky few that got it while it was current so praying I got the same luck as him

The drop rate is really low. WoWhead doesn’t really provide much of an official estimate.

My guess is around 1% or so.

Yeah I’ve seen horror stories, like one guy didn’t get it until like 4 years or smth so it’s def a similar if not the exact same drop rate as mythic mounts :,)
Yeah, I got lucky with mine having got it after 2 or 3 resets, and I’m fully aware of just how lucky that was.

Random will always be random, but alt armies tend to help a lot with that. Hopefully you’ll see yours sooner rather than later.

Tried to farm it on and off for a couple years, then picked it up on the bmah for 15k. Gold well spent.

Yeah I have a alt army set up, about 5 total so should def help
Thinking of doing this for a month or 2 but I’ll be probably be perma parked at the BMAH to see if it appears, not sure if it will show but hopefully it will at some point ( I’m on Frostmourne )

Of shaman, or can you get this on any mail wearer (or any toon)?
Just shamans, unfortunately the chest only drops for that class

One note, it can drop again once you have it already. I’ve got one sitting in my shamans bank.

I just got mine by farming it on mythic (even though wowhead said difficulty doesn’t matter I didn’t want to risk it) after about a month of farming it on my 4 shammies.
