I’m trying to run SOO and the gate after iron juggernaut is locked, not opening. Why is this? I’ve tried leaving and resetting all instances, but nothing… Takes me back in, to the locked door.

This has happened to me and my wife once, 2-3 weeks ago. Best we could tell, there was absolutely no way to fix it. We think it might’ve been one or more of the following:
- running in too soon, engaging Juggernaut before letting the trolls die
- killing him too quickly
- running towards the gate too soon after his death, before the Night Elves arrived on-scene
It was super frustrating.

Many times when characters vastly out power an instance, running them too quickly will break the scripts that control the events within (like Nevial alluded to). It depends largely on the complexity of the situation: some instances can be blasted through quickly, others have to be taken slowly. It’s not always easy to spot where the break is occurring so some experimentation is sometimes necessary.
The only real way to prevent the issue is to go slower. One way is to reduce your power level by taking off some gear so that bosses, events, etc have time to transition through their phases correctly.
Sunwell Plateau is a prime example of this. Running though the (now harmless) gauntlet will break everything that follows it. We have to play it out as close as possible to how it was originally intended.

I know this is a bit of a necro, but found logging out at the gate, playing another character, and logging back in after a number of hours worked for me.
Bug is painful.

necro’ing this just because i’m experiencing it now… of all the issues i’ve experienced running old raids, first time up against this one.
as i’ve had logging OFF for an extended time fixes SoO issues specifically in the past, i’m going to try that, as the last poster suggested

Real way to fix it is to become a Dev and then fixing it yourself then going back to work fixing fun.

Happened again, killed the jugg too fast. Bug submitted… I doubt it is worth their time to pay someone to fix it though otherwise they would have already. I’m just here to be disappointed in not getting the shoulders from Gazza for the 4000000th time
