I finished all of the quests leading up to the sons of hodir and instead of increasing my reputation it decreased my reputation so I cannot do any quests for them even though I completed the entire chain up to them. Thorim gave me 24200 “increased” reputation but when I checked it I am 24200 into hated with the Sons of hodir.

I’m having this same issue. It’s preventing me from doing any quests with them. I completed the “Mending Forces” quest…

I tell you that I have the same problem I have done the chain of missions, I have gained 22k of reputation but I am Hated, please if you can help me too.

Same here! I think mine was because I used a token to gain 400 rep before I had done the chain. It took me all the way to hated so when I got the final turn in, it didn’t properly put me to neutral. This is a serious issue… Please help blizz!

Simply do the quest that you get the fire sparks from, turn in at anvil, go back to the big guy and you will be good.
Tried that, didnt work. Can we get some official blizz words on this? Really dont wanna delay my shoulder enchants…
i have the same issue ive put in a few tickets and so far got only automated responses. did anyone manage to resolve this?
I just had this happen to 3 characters, all of them went to negative 24200 rep with sons of hodir. Ticket says wait time is 16D 22H. No way this is getting fixed before raid, rip shoulder enchants.

same issue here. Can’t do any quests. I think the problem is that if you use a Sons of Hodir rep token from the daily prior to completing the quest line to become neutral, it breaks it.

You need to complete A Spark of Hope in addition to Mending Fences to go from 0/36000 Hated into Neutral. I turned in a few Sons of Hodir reputation tokens from dungeon dailies before going through the main questline and I was able to progress into neutral without issue.

Thank you for this! after killing a few iron giants at frostfield lake i got the quest item (Slag Covered Metal) that allowed me to complete (A Spark of Hope) and become friendly with sons of hodir.

Done some more research today, and can confirm that this is NOT a BUG…
I’ve done the exact same thing as you before, used a token to gain 400 reps before completing the chain.
Turns out for me I was lacking this quest The Refiner's Fire, there’s an item called Slag Covered Metal sitting quietly in my bag, right click on it and it gives me this quest, after finishing it, i was able to continue working on A Spark of Hope, and it successfully bring me to neutural.
I would just goole search Son of Hodir complete quest chain, and try search if I completed each and every single quest from end to begining.
