Someting different

Yes, I already know what I am suggesting will never happen, for a multitude of reasons, but I am going to say it anyways.

I would like to see an expansion where raids don’t open right away at the beginning of a new expansion and give people actual time to level up their characters, gear, professions, and crafting without needing to do it all in 2 weeks. If blizzard really wants us to enjoy content, stop pushing everything at lightning speed. This isn’t to say there should be a 2 month wait for the first raid to open, but slow things down, just a bit, give us a little more time to get acclimated and comfortable.

Let mythic plus and delves start immediately. That will give people plenty of content to do until raids open. I am tired of being held hostage by the less than 1 percent race to world first group, of which I will never be a part of. Why not create a whole separate realm for race to world first content and put all those guilds there and speed up content to your heart’s desire and let the rest of us enjoy the game at a much more relaxed, comfortable pace.

Maybe if you don’t rush content at the beginning and spread it out, there won’t be such a lull towards the end of the expansion.

As I said, none of this is likely, or will ever happen and people will already say there is more than enough time between expansion launch and when raids release.

Vanilla was like that but of course everything was new back then. We were in the good old days and didn’t even know it.

People lost their minds when it was three and a half weeks until M+ opened up this season.

I don’t think the masses could wait any longer. lol

I dunno about more withholding of content.

What about the people that level fast? People who’s game is to grind it out? Do they not count as well?

Furthermore, who then decides what the ‘normal’ pace is? if that pace is slower than what you are thinking, even you would be unhappy with the result.

If the content is just released, it will still be there for folks that sniff the roses as well.

I don’t see why we care what others are and are not doing.

The world don’t move to the beat of just one drum. What might be right for you, may not be right for some.

It being open right away let’s people access content when they want it
You don’t wanna hit the ground running, no big deal - plenty of guilds still raiding later in the season. No harm no foul

Yeah once the raids are open there’s really nothing left to look forward to.

This entire post is riddled with hypocrisy and contradictions.

You want raids to be held back, but M+ and delves open right away?

You feel “held hostage”, so you ask for the pacing to bend to your preference?

You say you’ll never be a part of that 1%, so why do you feel pressured to rush?

Buddy, just come out and say you hate RWF. It’d be more straight forward than whatever this nonsensical crap was.

Youd then be grossly overgeared before raids open which would only make sense if we go back to the formula of raid gear being higher ilvl than other content, which also could be done by scaling its own gear much higher in its own content.

Making raid gear higher and the starting levels of raids is higher would work.
