I was checking transmogs yesterday and noticed that I can xmog one-handed weapon on my Fury Warrior. So does that mean the restriction of transmog being only 2H → 2H is finally gone?

It never made sense to me that there are one-handed weapons as big as, or even bigger than, two-handed swords and yet we couldn’t use their appearances.

This opens up so many cool possibilities.

I just want to point out that, if this was already possible before, I honestly didn’t know about it. And it would be great if Blizzard expanded this even more — for example, allowing shamans to use one-handed weapons of other types (like swords).

I just checked now (2026/01 day 23) , and for example Unholy DK still doesn’t have the option to use a 1H transmog on a 2H sword… and that’s still ridiculous.

unholy should be able to xmog dual wield too, just for fun…xmogs of 1h to 2h should be default.

Yeah, Fury Warriors having a special weapon category that’s basically Single-Minded Fury baked in is fully intended.

Also to note that Daggers have finally joined the 1h Weapon pool, so those are also an option for classes that can use them now.

It does, yeah. I’ve gone back and forth between the options on various characters.

If true I would actually roll a fury warrior now. The aesthetic limitations imposed by Titan’s Grip have always annoyed me.

I can’t transmog my off hand to a shield anymore, though :frowning: Going to be whipping around whatever frill doesn’t look silly.

Do you mean the shield from the artifact weapon? They are working on fixing those to overwrite anything again.

Now I have to change Phlynch’s weapons to a Rapier+Dagger.

Just in general. I have a crafted off hand (the censer thing) for resto, and I used to be able to transmog it to any shield. Now it can only be transmogged into another offhand frill item.
