I’ve been noticing this in BG’s more and more lately…I’ll be stealthed and observing a fight going on, well away from the fighting, then all of a sudden a warrior leaps directly on top of me out of nowhere and uncovers me.
I’m stealthed…not standing anywhere obvious…no DH’s nearby using Spectral Sight…and they just pinpoint exactly where I am and start munching on me.
This is happening a lot, why?
Are you sure nothing brought you out of Stealth before the warrior Leaped? There’s a bug where rogues will randomly be taken out of Stealth, seemingly by nothing. This happens quite a bit in bgs, at least in my experience.
DHs also don’t need to be nearby to see you with Spectral Sight and call out your position.
Are you by a flag/node? Leap has an AoE factor to it that can break you from stealth if you’re in its radius as well
It’s possible their reaction time is to leap on me the second I get revealed as a result of that bug (a bug that I’ve also noticed) but I could swear that I’m invisible when it happens.
I’ve been noticing all sort of glitches in BGs, like people capping and moving/teleporting while sapped, the usual stealth breaking issues and so on.
I bet they’re byproducts of phasing.
That is more like lag and not phasing bugs.
Phasing bugs would be when you transition to one part of the map to another and you lose buffs/stealth.
I am noticing that even in world that I will suddenly pop out of stealth for no reason. I wish Blizzard would fix this bug.
