speak for yourself…
TWW beats the breaks off of that trashcan called Dragonflight.
People like different things. I’ve liked the new hero talents and the gameplay of my classes right now, while for sure not perfect it still feel better than before for me.
Same goes for M+, for me it’s one of the better season if you like challenging and team based content that is rewarding which M+ didn’t feel as much before.
But yea there hasn’t been a lot of communication since the beta, maybe there’s a lot going inside that we don’t know.
i am. thx mom
The war within The War Within.
They don’t want this. They want VDH to stop all damage while they look at WAs and Hekili to do rotations.
you should try baby wipes
I can sympathize with the need for WAs, Idk why Lunar Storm doesn’t have a visual tracker for ICD already…
but using Hekili is purely a skill issue.
actually all i use irl lol. thats not a lie!
You could have summarized this in 2 words. “ I quit”
M+ is objectively less rewarding now than it has been in years.
Delves make early M+ feel pointless.
Later M+ is still way behind Mythic raiding in potential.
The difficulty doesn’t match the rewards at all.
idk about that.
reading these forums would lead me to believe this game is very toxic in group settings and then i do a bunch of m+s daily for many consecutive weeks and never see any toxicity.
the customer was wrong.
i swear the most toxic thing ive ever seen is “hey maybe you guys should watch some guides or something”. and that’s pretty mild
I find TWW to be very boring. I don’t like the quests much. Isle of Dorn is fun, after that… yuck.
I despise the Ringing Deeps and don’t care for the other 2 zones either.
I’m finding I’m leveling up alts in DF then parking them after I do the Isle of Dorn. Just can’t get motivated to do content that isn’t fun.
Some areas arn’t too bad, but others… ugh. Especially on characters that don’t handle mobs well. It’s like almost everything is a mob. This guy over here has 3 followers… So 4 to deal with at one time, and I only have 1 CC with a long CD. Um… (Depends on what I’m playing of course.) But even with my alts that are melee and can handle the mobs it’s just no fun. I don’t enjoy it.
I think it’s great that many enjoy it. Me though… Nope.
For now, I’m just leveling up alts in DF which I’m totally crazy about. lol
Note: I don’t do group content, I solo only and do quests. Did a few Dev’s they were fun, but I still prefer questing. I do plan to do more Dev’s though. Keeping it at a low number however. I’m good. I’m not great. I don’t like massive challenges. Some challenge is fun, as long as it’s not complex or overly intense. This is howerver just me.
That’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Have you considered that maybe some people who didn’t like M+ but played it because it was the best path to gearing they had at hand may have found a better home in Delves?
I’m not saying M+ is in good shape. I don’t do it. Never did it. IMHO the very concept of it is vile. So I don’t know the difference between good M+ and bad M+. It’s all bad to me.
But what I am saying is that statistics are a complicated thing to read, and even experts get things wrong, so we shouldn’t view them in a simplistic manner.
I would disagree with most of those statements.
I don’t think you can claim “objectively” when there are many factors to it.
M+ are still the best way to farm crests, they are still best to fill your vault in term of mythic track gear.
For the level of content that I care which is when the max rewards drop it does feel way better for me than before because the challenge feels appropriate for the rewards, because like i said for what I’m looking for this feels great.
Moreover, the point of M+ is not to make mythic raiding completely irrelevant. You can still gear yourself mostly from M+ but the current designs is M+ and raiding are both in the same ecosystem so they want you to do both if you want the best rewards the fastest.
But if we talk simply about ilvl over a whole season? Yes you can achieve the same ilvl by simply doing M+ that a mythic raider will have with the great vault because the great vault is offering the same level of rewards that mythic raiding is and if you think M+ would ever drop mythic track gear I simply don’t think you’d understand the negative impact it would have on gear progression overall, something that is already problematic at hero track level.
I think the systems are mostly okay, I just think TWW’s story and zones are boring. Hallowfall is the only one that is kind of decent.
I miss the old world building, the old zones just felt more immersive to me.
too long to read
I feel the same way. I can’t wait to get home to play… but as a Priest. I feel nothing but pain in M+ and something needs to change for us.
Nope. Biggest myth ever perpetrated in marketing.
I kinda feel op is right-ish. This xpac definitely feels rushed in some areas. But in spite of that I am still enjoying it better than DF by a wide margin.
