The vibe is just off with TWW. Every expantion even the bad ones, even SL as bad as it was, and it was very bad, had that warcraft/blizzard charm and magic to it.
TWW does not have it, this feels half baked, not just in terms of bugs, but everything.
The zones feel soulless and incomplete, flying around isle of dorn the zone feels like its about 3/4 the way completed like they never put the finishing touch on it. The ringing deeps and Spider zone are the same way, hallow fall is the only one that visually looks interesting but even then, it feels so, off.
The quests as well are not good, they are boring, ringing deeps probably had the most interesting/good quests but thats it.
Everything about this expansion feels like who ever made it, just did it to check boxes and complete the work needed. This expansion so far feels like the most corporate slop of an expansion because its so hallow and soulless.
This aint it chief.
I came back after quiting when Volājin got killed in a cutscene. Now, the story of The War Within basically neglects the Horde. I still have no idea why the Arathi would have been even slightly friendly with the Horde.
Aside from that, i have been having fun. Im a more casual player and dont have time to raid, so I miss out on the raid content.
Delves started a fine, but overly difficult solo content until Tier 7, which suddenly became brutal and I was higher than the recomended ilevel. Now I have to group to complete them and they have basically become mini, linear dungeons.
The actual dungeons are obnoxiously obtuse, save for the Rookerie and Cinderbrew Meadery.
The professions being so slow to progress is frustration incarnate. I can scrape out about 10 knowledge points per week or so, but each tree needs 100 or more points and the First Craft points dry up fast as there are no trainer recipes beyond skill level 50 and the recipes tou can learn are rare to drop and ludicrously expensive on the AH.
Then there is the miningā¦
The nodes that despawn as you come to them. The nodes that despawn while youre mining them.
The nodes that are simply bugged and just cant be looted.
The Overload ability that bugs and doesnāt trigger the node, especially the glimmering nodes. Thats okay, it only has a 12h cooldown that gets reduced by 30 minutes per node you mine, you know, when the nodes donāt disappear and/or work properly.
The utter lack of use for one of the three new ore types in Blacksmithing.
One thing I can speak to is that my lvl 80 prot warrior feels good and is fun to play. I like the lightning hero spec talents.
My lvl 80 prot paladin is much less fun to play. The hero spec doesnt even seem to make a difference for the paladin.
Something needsbto get fixed, I agree.

I kind of agree.
TWW started strong. The storyline is compelling, the world is stunning. I personally donāt mind the hero talents, theyāre alright. Delves feel like a torghast 2.0 for me, and Iām not entirely sure I like them but like good on blizz for trying something.
The difficulty and tuning is entirely different though. M+ feels bad, I agree. The rewards from M+ feel bad. Gearing feels very disjointed to me and not linear this season.
And then on the flip side the normal raid, normal dungeon and heroic dungeons feel stupidly easy. Like heroics have never been that hard but literally at the start of the game people could pull entire rooms and be fine.
Its like this whiplash of delves, norm raid, heroic/norm dungeons being stupidly easy and then M+ being insanely difficult. I canāt imagine what that feels like to a new player whoās trying to get into the game. It was shocking to me and Ive gotten KSM most seasons for fun.

Iāve had bugs ranging from my weekly quests not resetting, missing bronze tokens, shadowlands legacy content being literally impossible to start on some characters, the skip broken on others, the level scaling from 70-80 literally one-shotting my appropriately geared paladin tank, my dps classes hitting like a wet noodle. It really feels like the games ādigital foundationā has crumbled and its guts are falling out of the bottom.
