I’ve now taken all 8 of my alts through to kill her. My observations on the typical group makeup:
The Leaders
There are typically 2, 3, or 4 experienced at some other level of her encounter who will inform the group about what is happening and how things will go. They last 3-5 wipes and one might stay until the end.
The Antagonists
There are usually 1 or 2 who may or may not be experienced that will rage quit and spew venom at someone in particular, be it a low DPS, someone shot into the void one too many times, or a tank who can’t soak. They last 1-3 wipes with only a couple making it all the way, including yours truly.
The Pack
The quiet masses who are on alts or new to the encounter. They won’t talk much, if at all, and will sometimes take instruction. Usually they need 3-4 wipes to get a good feel of what is happening to them. Unfortunately, they will quit after 2-3 wipes, so the raid will turn over almost twice completely before she is killed.
Me:
I try to provide color commentary, albeit after getting a feel for the group and its overall disposition. I notice that people get a chuckle after hearing about my penchant for consuming spoiled dairy and elaborating on the side effects.
Spoiler: all 8 of my runs have ended successfully… on 3 of 8, my character got an item.
While the group makes claims about their other runs taking just a few wipes, the best of my runs took 7 and the worst took 16.
TLDR: I’m a glutton for punishment.
