I’m pretty sure people here aren’t complaining about +2s being too hard here. There is a right difficulty level, they just don’t want to play in it.

they fell in deep thought upon the realization that I’m right? I have “like” notifications turned off so… makes no difference.

I think its 50/50, I remember during SL high end m+ players complained a lot about the dungeons were boring and pulls lasted too long when they were doing >26 in push weeks, +20s were totally optional and doing 15s was just enough. The high ego caused that extending the rewards to 20s, getting max ilvl for just doing 15s were too easy for them, with few words almost could be considered a “exploit”. It was good for alts to tmog farm and don’t wait years to get them.

In the other hand, that thing healers doing dps its becuase ppl used defensives and knew about damage output, I wonder if you could time +15s or 20s with 0 dps as healer. Now using def. is mandatory.

Now with the actual tunning and changes in m+, dungeons are truly designed for MDI and high end players. And that makes it hard to play with alts, if you dont have friends, community, guild or premade, you’re dommed. M+ should be easy to pug with all 39 specs to recover part of mmo essence.

DF M+ was a steaming pile of garbage.

Aren’t delves better for them ? Much better loots for easier content, no timer neither.
If they want to quit, then they just quit, the game offers a variety of difficulties for all types of players. Their quitting is not because of this matter.

Yup, get double charge in mists - just do the mechanics. The random one shot mechanics and the overall brutal grind this season is so far is a huge turn off.

DF S3/S4 was great - and the numbers blizz shared shows it was the most successful. But the 1% no longer felt like special snow flakes - heaven forbid the rest of us gear up and have fun. News flash that group maybe loud but they dont pay the bills.

Make the game easier - its more fun when it is, and it doesnt feel like a second job. Flame way on the learn to _____ fill in the blank.

Its week 2 we are low still grunding gear and the highest keys done rn are 13s. Seriously what is the actual problem.
Btw of all things to complain about that could be seen as bs, mists double charge realllly of all things.
If ye had said like seige pullin basically 1 shotting along with adds doing casts around the same time sure. Nah you choose the easiest dungeon and a mechanic that dosent even doo all that much, and is incredibly telegraphed.

I’d like to see dungeons be tuned to be more similar in terms of difficulty. Some things from the top of my head:

  • Affix overlaps with some fights: Erudax (gb), Izo (city), Anub’zekt (ara kara) where you can pick between dying or wiping unless you’re a lucky class with immunity.
  • Siege of Boralus trash mechanic overlaps you have to be lucky to avoid:
    • pull + (barely visible) frontal in the start
    • pull + charge at 3rd boss
  • Izo feels overly chaotic and puts extreme pressure on the healer, I think if they’d reduce the poison wave mechanic on only 3 players instead of 5 that boss would be much more fair
  • First boss in city has adds that die too fast to commit CDs but not fast enough to not commit them, and the swirly mechanic is just slightly too fast for some ranged specs to properly cast anything. The entire fight feels like it should be really easy, but it won’t let me properly cast anything in this current rhythm
  • Necrotic wake… please just get rid of the weapons. Dungeon itself is fine but the weapons are so darn annoying.
  • Siege of Boralus snipers sometimes decide to go for the same target, which is atrocious if even 1 person uses an AoE CC. I’ve had several runs where this RNG meant that 1 person died and after that it’s really hard to recover. I would really like to see some staggering between those casts so that you don’t get all damage at the exact same millisecond.

Besides of those points I think it’s just a matter of tuning damage. Mists is clearly one of the favorites because the maze pulls are small and thus easy, with no (legit) way of pulling too much and thus doesn’t make people do crazy stuff that will wipe the group. Before and after the maze there aren’t really any pulls with uncontrollable AoE damage or massive single target dots that can’t be countered one way or another, making it much safer than some of the newer dungeons.

I think you mean Ara Kara, and the add health is ridiculous. Don’t forget the pulsing aoe for 80% of your health that goes out at the same time. This is how this fight goes for me. Come in hot, bust everything I can on the boss, spend the rest of the fight killing adds, then dodging swirlies, find the tank and healer, prep for big damage incoming then back to adds. Besides the initial damage I’m doing almost no damage on the boss due to adds having so much health and swirlies landing within a second or second and a half

I’m playing a Preservation Evoker this season, and I saw my key drop from +8 to +4.
I want to quit now. It’s not enjoyable. Why am I being punished for others’ failures?
I picked up the group, and they ended up ditching. Do I look like a masochist?

Again, it was scaling content. But sure, your attitude will grow the game lol.

It’s still stunning the amount of MMO players who hate that other players can simply have fun in lower end content and demand that content be removed, and then when said content dies they move on to the next thing.
