Something is not right with M+

The decision to add Tyrannical to every key at or above a 4 is absolutely horrible.

Every fight is now a 4 minute slog fest. Most bosses are severely overtuned or bugged. And there’s now no escaping tyrannical.

I’m not talking about the abomination damage. Stitchflesh’s unavoidable damage alone seems to be quite overtuned.

Stitchflesh does what damage? lol.

His dot damage on random players. The only time there were 2 abominations up at once, it only lasted for ~5s.

that’s largely irrelevant?

It sure as hell didn’t feel like on a +7.

2nd abom spawns, group dies, otherwise, it’s pretty relaxing.

I just said they didn’t last long. For the optimal strat on pulling him down as soon as he jumps up, the first abomination needs to be alive. The second abomination barely got to the tank as the 1st one died, which is what’s best.

Players describe the “m0s were once m10s” due to Blizzard’s changes to add in affixes earlier, boost mob health earlier, etc.

Blizzard did this because originally m2-m7 or 8 players would just steam roll and learn no mechanics. So they shifted it as there was next to no benefit to keep it as it was.

that’s only optimal if you can heal through having 2 aboms up at once. if you can’t, it’s not optimal.

Yeah, but I mentioned the 2 weren’t up for more than 5s, which shouldn’t have been a problem. It’s seriously a lot of damage.

It’s a weird spot for me because of gear. Typical season I don’t worry too much because I know it’ll get easier with higher ilevel and the mythic gear was easier to get or not too much higher than heroic maxed out. This round though eek. 9s for the crests, 90 crests to make your crafted piece at at higher level. Can’t upgrade my heroic without the crests from the 9s either. And screw all the unnecessary knockback and interrupts in these dungeons.

I think Blizzard’s scaling is the issue, and completely unneeded affixes. This maybe one of the most imbalanced seasons we’ve ever seen in M+.

what’s your definition of imbalanced?

picking horrible dungeons that people liked the least in their era certainly didn’t help.

make sure you pick king’s rest, SoA and Sanguine Depths next season blizz, i heard the community really enjoyed those!

trolls in their ear for sure!

People define horrible or good based on how easy it is to time. I would not want keys to be picked based off this metric.

They seem to be bowing down to Mythic raiders who were complaining that M+ was easier than Mythic raid yet gave the same iLvl or gear. Blizzard used to balance around casuals which wasn’t fun and now they’re balancing around the top 5% of hardcore players which also isn’t fun. Like seriously just look at these dungeon journals for some of these bosses like holy man why do I have to read an entire essay for a single 5 man dungeon boss?

They would litterally just design the game differently of the scrubs werent here. They wouldnt have too spend the large amount of time on quests and the whole of delve essentially. The endgame players dont care about delve obviously it was made for noobier players.

Sanguine depths was fun… It was mechanic heavy, but that’s better than a dungeon full of “training dummy simulator” mobs.
