Those who are good at cryptograms, if Blizzard did what I think they did, could probably decipher it if we figure out how each rune corresponds and/or repeats in a certain pattern.

Each picture corresponds to a letter of the alphabet.

It should be easy enough to figure out with enough time.

The video preview of 9.2 gave us the letter “a,” already, if I remember right.

I was wondering the same thing. I really hope they did something more complex than substitution cyphers to avoid people just making add-ons to automatically translate.

HOWEVER, the whole concept has me stoked honestly. If this place is the origin of All That Is, of course they don’t speak Common/Orcish. That’s something us lame Azerothians made up over time. I like the concept of working with someone to understand this entirely new communication and how it’s not only cyphers but music as well.

I really doubt We actually solve stuff. These will be solved week by week as a progress of sort, just like how campaigns are.

Even without deciphering anything you can probably guess what they are saying.

“Hero, the local wildlife has gone mad. Please collect 10 primordial squirrel foreheads for 3 gold. It is super important for the survival of the universe.”

I roleplay a Lorewalker (as you can tell by my TMOG) and this is like her dream, to see the origin of it all, to see the HISTORY of everything.

The pursuit of knowledge to share will be enlightening for Dedaru.

Not in my school. We didn’t take a whole year to learn it. One lesson, sure. :rofl:

I’m guessing this will release around March, then the decipher will last probably about 5 or 6 months until pre-patch.

I doubt it’s anything like this. It’s just a replacement for the covenant campaigns to time gate us from content and give us a new power system.
