Something confusing about DF

If the legion invaded azeroth they probably could of found dragon isles in fact this really isn’t not plausible they had a lot of scout demons in their service and dragon isles doesn’t stand against some of this magic.

Eventually they probably would have, but there are obvious constraints to gameplay that didn’t deem it relevant to the story at the time. By mid to end-Legion they were pretty tied up with Illidan crashing into their house with all of Azeroth’s murder hobos to really bother.

The Legion also apparently didn’t even hit Kul Tiras and Zandalar during the Third Invasion, even though neither of those islands were hidden. Like they both mention it occurred, but we really see none of the fallout from their attack.

The thing about locations in WoW is that they don’t really exist unless they’re in story focus - retroactively or presently.

Maybe we will find some infrastructure completely destroyed, some towns being run by an imp cartel. Maybe some zones are locked in time and serving as a port of the time for time pirates stealing booty from Kul’tiras. We have infinite dragon pirates, so nothing is outside the picture.

There was a stranded demon in a cave Zuldazar. I would chalk it up more to Legion failing to represent the global threat and impact than sparing the BFA zones.

The Dragon Isle went Pandaria mode and effectively hid itself with magic. Most demons would probably just see open water/magic would probably have turn them right back around.

The magic the dragons would have used would be specifically designed to try and counter demonic magic. I mean the Legion was one of the reasons they hid it in the first place.

I still find it hard to believe they would be able to hide it from the legion to be honest edit: not even eonar could hide from the legion
