Something bugs me about Geya'rah

No, is not her personality or how little use she got since her introduction in BFA.

Is the shadowlands lore implications about her that bother me and I’m sharing today, I may have talked about this in the past, i don’t recall.

When it comes to alternative timelines, the lore explanation about what happen with the souls of beings in these alternative timelines is that they “return” to the main timeline, like they’re threads on a rope, that return to the main rope once they die. So like, every alt garrosh that dies in alt timelines woild just be absorbed by main garrosh’s “rope”.

And this is a very convoluted piece of lore that could be simply solved by multiple timelines having multiple shadowlands, but they didnt want the easy route (same for the Burning legion).

Now, that means that every single mag’har orc that was rescued from alt draenor, is an alternative version of someone on current azeroth and part of someone else’s rope, they share their soul with somebody else, which by this point you figured out what I’m going for.

Geya’rah is the daughter of Durotan and Draka from alt draenor, which logically means she is an alternative version of Thrall, which, by what we have stablished, means both share the same soul, and I feel this is something that could be used in multiple story devices, but it is also super confusing.

Unless the case is, by being transported into the main timeline for good turns their threads into a separate rope entirely.

No.
She was born years after Thrall was.
She would be his sister.

False universes are made more substantial the more the real universe interacts with the false.

So she probably has a real soul now, but you and I are putting more thought into this than the sum total writers of Blizzard.

I mean surely with all the alternate timelines, they would have to have some unique souls to that timeline

Yeah, that makes sense, so does what dreadmoore said, but it just makes the rope thing more messy.

Rope thing honestly felt like kind of a slap dash explanation

I’ve seen the rope dealio in other settings, and it can make sense.
It’s basically just The Eternal Warrior, but applied to every single person.

I wonder if any Orc Rper ever did a regular orc and a mag’har with similar name and played as both being alt versions of the same person…

Or by taking the Blizzard approach and just ignoring it.

If anything she is a mirror for Thrall to use how he would ended up if his true parents had raised him instead of a bunch of humans.
