Probably nicest thing anybody has ever done for me in WoW.
See, I had this set of gloves I’ve been trying to offload for probably over a year, maybe two now. Dumb me thought, “Hey, why don’t I try selling TBC recipe transmogs for a profit”. I know better now, but these gloves were the last piece of that stupidity I had left.
Decided, frak it, I’ll try to off load them on Trade Chat for something. After a few posts of wanting to sell it over 45 minutes, this little gnome starts whispering me about them, how he’s seen me trying to sell them for a while and how he wants to help. I tell him I’ll be glad to give them to him for 30k, since they’ve been bouncing between 40 and 80k for the last few months and cost 20k to make. Just want something for them.
He asks how much gold I have on all my characters, and I tell him. I used pure gold to get the new Bronto before it left the shop; I had to borrow gold off three friends for that, since I blew most of what I had left from Dragonflight buying myself and my brother The War Within. So, my gold is pretty non-existent across my characters.
He gives me a token’s worth of gold for it.
I hope one day I’ll have enough amassed wealth myself again to pass this good will along and be just like this little gnome hunter.
