Something a bit ridiculous

A few things stirred in my mind from the result of talking about crossovers and which characters would fit into the Warcraft universe along with various vs battles and what-ifs.

Siegfried Schtauffen vs Arthas Menethil. (All versions of each character.)

What if a different type of Ashbringer was forged.

Would the Belmont clan from Castlevania fit in the same universe?

How did Gallywix not die of high blood pressure or a heart attack yet?

Feel free to post your own what-ifs or respond to these however you please.

Okay, the only thing I am qualified to answer is the Siegfriend Schtauffen vs Arthas Menethil question.

First, we need to decide WHICH versions are going to fight each other. If we’re discussing Arthas pre-Frostmourne (living and blonde) against Siegfried (also living and blonde, but without Soul Calibur) then I think Arthas would win. The Light can be used to empower himself, while all Siegfried can do is meele and charge.

If we choose to go Siegfried with Soul Calibur vs Arthas (pretty and blonde) with Frostmourne, then I would give the fight to Siegfried. Soul Calibur can augment its user extremely well, and if we use its powers from SC IV then we have a weapon that can overpower Frostmourne, which in Arthas’ hands at current is just a really good cursed blade.

Takes a shot of Red Bull Now we come to the penultimate confrontation: Nightmare (Siegfried host) vs Arthas (Death Knight). This battle would be another loss for Arthas, as Soul Edge trumps Frostmourne in terms of power level. Frostmourne is, again, a really good weapon. But Soul Edge can create fissures, burst into flames, and has an impressive reach of three anime protagonists from the 90s.

And now, for the ULTIMATE BATTLE: Nightmare (no Siegfried/Possible Night Terror) vs Arthas (Lich King). This one is going to be tough to decide, as Arthas and Nightmare are both overpowered in this scenario, and neither can break their weapons as both are evil blades (Soul Edge can only be destroyed by Soul Calibur and Frostmourne was destroyed by a holy weapon, the Ashbringer)

Frostmourne and Arthas are inseparable, and the blade heightens his already formidable powers that have merged with Ner’zhul. His command of necromancy and just augmented power in general would give him an edge.

Nightmare, however, is faster and less prone to questioning himself. This is when Soul Edge inhabits just the armor and has no host to hold it back from its full, vengeful glory. He can tap directly into the powers of Night Terror and heighten his brutality up to an eleven. Not to mention he still has access to fire and explosive magics conjured from the sword, which will continue to prolong the battle unless destroyed–which Frostmourne cannot do.

In the end? I’d have to give the wins to Siegfried/Nightmare. The world they come from is far more ‘powerful’ when it comes to their weapons of choice. Arthas is OP, but Soul Edge transcends history and the world.

I am merely gonna say this since I have a Siegfried bias. During Soul Calibur 1, a 16 year old Siegfried had to defeat the first incarnation of Inferno to claim Soul Edge. So I think Siegfried just kinda stomps Arthas like a bully.

Arthas has the powers of the Light, though. He can Divine shield and still strike when Siegfried gets close. Plus, Arthas slew Mal’ganis and an Orc Blademaster (albeit that last one with the help of Uther)

Though I do agree Inferno is DEFINITELY the hardest foe anyone would have to face.

Edit: And Siegfried DOES have the bully-stomp-stomp if I recall. It’s why Nightmare can fire-blast your toes.

He killed Mal’ganis with Frostmourne. So I’d say if anything, Arthas just barely gets a win with 16 year old Siegfried.

Probably well enough - if they’re trained to kill vampires, I imagine they could train to kill other nasty beasties of the unnatural variety.

The magic power of plot!

More seriously, probably magic - I doubt Goblin’s have anything resembling health care effective enough to keep even someone with Gallywix’s wealth afloat, but magic can do a lot. If you’re struggling with the thought, then there ya go. One could also just shrug and say Goblin anatomy may be designed to handle weight the weight. Or perhaps he’s just one of the lucky ones that didn’t have any issues. Who knows.

The others, I don’t really know enough about to say anything. xD.

I’ll concede to that. Arthas DID have an enchanted weapon, while Siegfried had a zweihander.

Siegfried wins, in the end.

Edit: I forgot the official name of the weapon.

It was a zweihander!

dracula (lets say Netflix Castlevania Dracula) appears in Warcraft canon

Suddenly there are two indestructible lords of the dead running amuck

Insert “Now there’s two of them” meme

No, the real reason Siegfried wins is that he sends a copyright notice to Arthas.
