I’d suggest also adding your discord community to the new player friendly guilds sticky up above.
The original sticky was created before communities were prevalent but your community sounds like it would be in the spirit the thread was created in.

Did OP ever get set on the right path? I’m wondering if they were not wearing any gear or have proper weapons equipped.
In my early days I picked a rogue just because…and I equipped a white trash item GUN because I thought it was cool and played like that.
They mentioned trying to queue for dungeons, my assumption here is that they made the unfortunate and unavoidable mistake for new players (because there’s no warning about this anywhere in game, and Blizz refuses to do anything about it) and queued for BFA dungeons while doing the BFA levelling experience that new players are railroaded into.
These dungeons as far as I am able to tell from many many forum posts are massively scuffed scaling wise and are basically a nightmare to clear even for veteran player alt characters.
