i Have pugged 30+ lockouts. It takes 10 min to find a group and have cleared 7/7 since week 2. IDK why people complain about finding pugs its super easy.
People aren’t “being annoying” by trying to LFG in LFG. You’re just being annoyed.

GDKP cant go external with USD directly.
Total final cash is divided between each player at the end with the host getting a higher cut for hosting.
If I can get paid to carry, man this game is becoming a good sideline.

Its 5g a week because of GDKP. When its gone guess what happens. Shadow prot potions become 20g each because thats the new big gold maker. Or idk if you see the scam AH listings with bid price set to 1c and buyout set to 5G 19s 99c when the cheapest one is 20 silver. Causing people to see the 5g one listed before the 20 silver one due to the bid price set at 1c. Thats all over since gdkp was announced banned in P2. Now players are resorting to scamming for extra gold. Like for real banning GDKP is gonna hurt the economy next season and your trade chat will still be spammed by gold farmers selling summons to every corner of azeroth.

I am strongly against GDKP because of the correlation to botting, which does lower the esthetic and spirit of the game.
With that said, if these loot goblins want all the loot so bad that they decide to setup an underground community where they can pony up real cash to buy their items, then i think i am ok with that.
If i am thinking through this right, it would not drive gold farmers to making more bots to sell gold, all the transactions would move out of game, and they wont need gold anymore, they will have their own little money points or whatever to bid.
I think im ok with this. Might be an actual solution for loot goblins who insist on gdkp. Their are big risk to them of course, always is when your personal finance is involved, but they are making the choice to participate.
Hopefully everything works out and no ones pockets get hurt irl. But based on the attitude of the GDKP community i expect there will be blood.

Did you actually read and understand what I said? I’m not denying they define GDKP as a service, I’m just analysing their language and sharing my experience.

GDKP is only banned because of people that cry and moan so much in game that no guild or group wants to pick them up and theyre too lazy to farm gold or to broke to buy gold that already exists in the economy. So they cant get into any PUG other than GDKPs they cant afford. Thats why they come here and cry because everyone ignored them in game. Im geared if i wanna rob RMT whales then let me. Its their money. You let it happen everywhere else but SoD. Blue post saying it takes away from the community in classic. Your classic community was from 20 years ago. This 2024 commuinity is 70-80% of players that didnt even hit 60 in original classic. Its a new WoW community that was given birth through the evolution of the comunity over the years. GDKP has its own comunity. There are guilds that just run GDKP raids. Let a geared guild pick up 2-3 players to increase their guild gold reserves. Why do i want to replay the same content over and over again for weeks with no incentive? I have all BiS. Im not gonna make another character and repeat 500 quests ive done already over again. Raiding for gold was the incentive to stick around for classic and prep for next phase. Retails incentive is new content every few months so ill sub to come back and check out the new raids when they drop. But most of this content is old so im not as excited about it, granted the BFD raid was cool i think Gnomer will be cool, and i also like the runes allowing me to tank a rogue or warlock. Some new things but not enough to keep my interest, or most peoples for that matter if you look at dwindling subs. This is Blizz taking away something their community created to keep the game fun or meaningful for some. So they will lose those players. Thier subs speak for themselves. Now their subs are padded by free wowtoken months from bot gold farming accounts. Actual paid subs are even less than the result shown on google. Ive seen videos of 1 guy running 20 accounts for free on WoW tokens off one PC. Theres probably thousands of that guy in china alone. So they are making a fraction of the sub money they used too. The fact that we the players pay monthly to play this game, we should be able to play how we see fit. Think about the way some people reacted to being told they cant have an abortion. They picked up and left that state. People forced to get a vaccine quit their jobs. Then when theyre all gone the forums will be back to posts about dead servers and needing to merge servers due to low player count. Theres a big picture, and this has been a cycle that circles around every so many years in this game. Just play or dont, quit crying to take away things you dont like just dont do those things. And Blizzard quit catering to the cry babies youre losing money because of it.

Meanwhile I raid 3 nights a week, have never bought gold, don’t play outside of raid, have bought around a year of game time with wow tokens, and am buying a (late) shadowmourne from a gdkp. Meanwhile, the guild I was running with on one of my toons most of the xpac fell apart because the leadership said leading a guild felt like a job. I ain’t no whale, but I can tell you this game would be absolutely dead without gdkp.
Y’all aren’t going to enjoy raiding with no competent raid leaders, who now understand that raid leading is a job one deserves to be paid for.
