What makes you believe you’ll actually listen to what we say?
Class is a much more significant choice than race.
Shaman is better than Priest.
Think of it this way, if you’re indecisive Shaman gives you bigger variety. Instead of battling Priest vs Shaman, you could just battle between Ele vs Enh. Or Healing vs DPS-ing.

I have a tauren enhancement shaman at max level, but he still needs season 2 gear. He is really fun. I prefer him to have maces.
I heal primarily.
Play the race you like both shaman and priest are good
Tbh Id go human priest. Mostly because mogging will look better.
If you want to “human” shaman, you can always kultiran.
Tauren Shaman. Human anything is boring.

Im essentially using yall as my coin toss since I enjoy yalls input. Factors to consider would be class fantasy most of all. I love tauren native culture and healing both with nature and holy spells are fun in their own right. I find a deeper sense of personal values however in priest.
Then I say go Priest.
Speaking from personal experience, if you feel a personal connection with a class and their fantasy, there’s a higher chance you’d want to stick with them.

If you really enjoy healing roll priest because they have two healing specs, if you perfer dps bit more roll shaman. If you enjoy doing solo content both are capable but shaman will be easier while priest more group content runner. PvP both classes do great and both have amazing Transmog. However Tauren struggle with doorways and look akward on flying mounts and some ground mounts. My vote would be human priest just because not having deal with doorways/ akward mount riding and every expansion priest transmog just gets better and better. Also everyone wants a healer and shadow really cool spec.
