If this was the case we would have been seeing this pattern in queues all along with every format, but we haven’t. This hasn’t started happening until BG Blitz which soon stands to provide rank. If players are willing to go to these absurd lengths to game the system when rank isn’t even involved, you really think players aren’t go to put in at least as much effort to do so with this format?
